AudioChrome Extension
TapType: Mechanical Keyboard Sounds
Laptop keyboards are quiet and flat. TapType: Mechanical Keyboard Sounds adds mechanical switch and typewriter audio while you type on standard websites.
Open the popup, pick a preset (recorded Tactile or Classic, or synthesized Clicky, Linear, and Typewriter), set volume, preview in the dedicated field, mute sites you do not want, and optionally enable sounds with the tt address bar keyword.
Settings stay in Chrome storage on your device. Sounds do not play on chrome:// pages, the Chrome Web Store, or system pages where extensions cannot inject.
