How to use
Setup takes under a minute. After that, every tab with sound gets the same equalizer controls from the toolbar.
  1. Install from the Chrome Web Store link above - the extension is free and needs no sign-in.
  2. Click the puzzle icon in Chrome, pin Equalizer for Chrome browser to the toolbar.
  3. Play audio in any tab (YouTube, music site, video call recording, etc.).
  4. Open the popup, choose a genre preset or move the 10-band sliders until it sounds right.
  5. Your last settings apply to that browsing session; saved profiles reload automatically next time.
Permissions
Only two permissions - both explained in the Chrome Web Store listing and matched to how tab audio EQ actually works.

tabCapture

Chrome requires this so the extension can read audio from the active tab and apply the equalizer in real time. Nothing is recorded or sent elsewhere.

storage

Stores your custom presets, slider positions, and preferences locally so you do not reset the EQ every time you open the browser.
