What is Capture?

Full Page Screenshot & Screen Recorder - No Watermark by NexRunner Works ("Capture," "the Extension") is a Chrome extension that captures full pages, visible areas, regions, and elements, opens a local annotation editor, and records tabs, windows, or the screen with optional microphone, system audio, and webcam overlay.

Single purpose

This Extension provides a single, focused purpose: capture screenshots and screen recordings, annotate them locally, and export them from your device.

Permissions are limited to what that purpose requires: capturing and recording the active tab or selected surfaces, injecting overlays for selection and stitching, running MediaRecorder offscreen, and storing captures and preferences locally.

NexRunner Works stores screenshots and recordings in the browser Origin Private File System on your device. Capture preferences stay in chrome.storage. Microphone and camera access are requested only when enabled for a recording. No account is required for capture, annotation, or local export.

Data stored on your device

When you use the Extension, local browser storage may keep:

• Screenshots and recordings in the Origin Private File System (OPFS) on your device
• Capture preferences, theme, modes, and recording options in chrome.storage
• Optional large local media kept with unlimitedStorage so big captures and recordings remain available offline

This data stays on your device. The Extension does not require an account and does not upload your screenshots or recordings to a developer-operated backend for this product purpose.

Microphone and camera

Microphone and camera access are requested only when you enable them for a recording (for example system/mic audio or a webcam bubble).

Those streams are used on your device for the recording you start. They are not required for screenshot capture or local annotation.

Information the Extension does not collect

The Extension does not:

• Require an account to capture, annotate, or export locally
• Add a watermark to your captures
• Sell or broker personal data
• Use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to screenshot capture, screen recording, local annotation, and export
• Use user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes
• Ship remote executable code outside the Extension package

• activeTab - Capture or record the page you open
• storage - Remember theme, modes, and recording options
• tabs - Open the editor and find the active tab
• tabCapture - Record video and audio from this tab
• offscreen - Run MediaRecorder outside the service worker
• scripting - Inject select, stitch, and recording overlays
• unlimitedStorage - Keep large local screenshots and recordings
• optional <all_urls> - Inject overlay when recording across sites

Keyboard commands

The Extension registers optional Chrome commands for faster capture and recording. Shortcuts stay in your browser profile:

• capture-fullpage (Alt+Shift+F)
• capture-region (Alt+Shift+R)
• capture-visible (Alt+Shift+S)
• toggle-recording (Alt+Shift+V)

How capture and recording work

Screenshot modes capture the visible viewport, a selected region, or a stitched full page, then open a local editor for annotation and export (PNG, JPG, WebP, or PDF).

Recording can capture this tab, a window, or the screen, with optional microphone, system audio, and webcam overlay. Recordings export locally (for example WebM).

Webcam background blur and on-device caption assets that ship with the Extension run on your device for advanced editing workflows.

Data sharing and sale

We confirm the following, as required by the Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies:

• We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, except in the limited situations permitted by applicable law.
• We do not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to the operation or improvement of the Extension's core capture, recording, annotation, and export functionality.
• We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes.

Remote code

The Extension does not use remote code. All executable code is included in the Extension package and is not loaded from external sources at runtime.

Data retention and deletion

• Local screenshots, recordings, and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear extension data, or uninstall the Extension.
• Uninstalling the Extension removes its stored preferences and local extension data from your browser profile as Chrome allows.

Children's privacy

The Extension is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
